The Front Row Dries Van Noten Menswear | Fall Winter 2019/2020 | Fashion Show | Keylooks Designer: Dries Van Noten Inspiration: A huge square scene, interspersed with columns, light effects and an incredible soundtrack, mixing dialogs from Luciano Visconti and Alain Resnais films with extracts from interviews with Jean-Michel Basquiat and David Hockney without forgetting some musical notes from David Bowie and Jimi Hendrix. All to illustrate a new definition of elegance by Dries Van Noten with multiple tailoring propositions. Collection: Suits take on a new dimension, with their crossed jackets and enhanced shoulders, their high waisted or flared trousers that end mid-calf, in different military cottons such as twill or wool. Each appearance is precise, immaculate and delicate. Everything is made in basic tones including brown, grey, navy and camel.Dries adds a tie-dye print with a play on symmetry that is enlarged on long parkas, shrunken on jumpers, all over trousers and in multiple colours on some outfits. Some jackets and coats are belted and slightly quilted. Note: A big puffer scarf worn on suits + smooth and shiny leather in grey or chocolate brown + a long white coat that is lightly quilted.
