The Front Row Hermès Menswear | Fall Winter 2019/2020 | Fashion Show | Keylooks Artistic Director: Véronique Nichanian Location: The Mobilier National in Paris was open to the public and for a fashion show for the very first time. Period and contemporary furniture decorates the scene with a small foldable table by Rena Dumas and the Louis XVI desk by the former president Valéry Giscard d’Estaing. Collection: A sophisticated simplicity with curved and straight lines and elegant silhouettes that make way for controlled relaxation. We see sensual materials such as leather and shearling. Suit jackets are getting longer whilst trousers are getting wider. The colour palette is well thought out with deep blues, metallic touches and of course, the Hermès orange.A dragon replaces the horse for an unexpected touch (on buttons or printed on silk twill shirts). Note: Boots with thick soles and knitwear printed with geometric patterns. The numerous propositions of outerwear: jackets that are ribbed at the edges, straight zipped pockets, quilted parkas, short sailor coats and double-breasted coats.
